This novel is based on the life of Saint Luke. It has 54 chapters which I read over a 10 week period to my children (excluding chapters 27 to 30, which I omitted due to the age inappropriate material for children).
I took about 30 minutes to an hour to read one chapter per day, five days a week. Each week a worksheet was given to the children to work through on a project afternoon. I have included these ten worksheets for anyone to use. They cover English, History, Religion, Geography and science -- they were thoroughly enjoyed by the children at the same time as providing a rich educational experience.
